Bred by Houston, inspired by Pimp-C and molded by her gangster rapping mother, Megan thee Stallion is definitely making a name for herself in the rap game. 𝘛𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸 is Megan's new EP and she makes it clear thats she’s a pimp and she’s taking names! While her arrogance is sexy, her pace and style is not comparable to female rappers we hear today. She represents Houston well and it shows in her twang.
Megan recalls countless studio sessions where she would curiously wait for her mom to finish. That was only the beginning for Thee Stallion. She credits Pimp-C as her favorite and admires Biggie’s wordplay. Sadly, Megan grieves the loss of her mother. Thee Stallion took to Instagram Friday, March 22nd where posted a picture of her and mom and a caption that read, “The best mom in the whole world. The strongest woman on the planet. I can’t even put complete sentences together rn RIP mama.”
Debuting at number 2 on the Itunes hip-hop charts, success is inevitable for this overachieving lyrical college student. HBCU Prairie View A&M University gave her viral recognition once she slaughtered a male opponent during a battle rap. Balancing school and career Megan wants to shine a light on real women lyricist, and not girls who mumble rap and create catchy hooks. She’s in it for the long haul and wants to get better over time. Her writing as an early teen has certainly attributed to her abilities and it shows. Watch out for Thee Stallion, she’s castrating lyrically and she’s not horsing around.
