I joined 1500 Radio in early 2017. At the time it was a small internet station trying to find its footing and the show I was on Live From The Shop was the fifth show of the station. Throughout the year like any growing business there were additions and subtractions but the core of the train kept chugging along. Towards the end of 2017 there was an influx of talent that came to 1500 as word got out “This is where you want to be”. With the additional talent along with the shows already on board. 1500 began to soar and has really taken off from there.
Here we are a year later and 1500 Radio is nominated for the Baltimore Music Awards 2018 Radio Station of the Year. Up against Be Exposed Radio, DTLR Radio, and 92Q Jams that is an honor in itself and a contribution of just how much 1500 Radio has been working and making noise on the Baltimore radio scene.
There’s a lot of talented people at 1500 who all bring ideas to the table, and have put in lots of time and work to get to this moment. 1500 Radio is not just a radio station but has made strides to give back to the community. The radio station brings listeners several different shows that cater to several different audiences. 1500 Radio also maintains a family vibe, if one succeeds we all succeed.
I could go on for days about all the good work 1500 Radio is doing. This nomination should be proof enough for you if you don’t believe me. It’s been an enjoyable ride so far this past year and a half and I personally look forward to what’s next. In the meantime go vote for 1500 Radio via the link let’s show the big dogs there’s a new Rottweiler on their back, sneaking up to make a big impact and difference in Baltimore.
