Playoff Contender's or Pretender's

The Baltimore Ravens are going to start a stretch of three games that will test their playoff readiness and the quality of their team. Up to this point, the Ravens have faced teams that have the equivalent QB of Case Keenum (minus Pittsburgh and Cincinnati) and have been able to not allow a single touchdown after the second half. Flacco has played better than expected, coming off a knee injury two years ago and a nagging back injury last season. The Ravens defense has looked like it's 2000 self after posting a franchise record 11 sacks in one game.

However, the only quality team the Ravens have defeated thus far is the Steelers. The next three games will be against 3 All-Pro's at QB and playoff participants from last season. The knock on Harbaugh and the Ravens, over the past five seasons, has been that they can't beat the quality teams, which is why no one in the national media takes them seriously. They will have to beat the likes of Brees, Newton and Roethlisberger before the bye week, which will test their league leading defense and adequate offense.

Harbaugh and Flacco are on the hotseat and know if they don't make the playoffs this year, both will have to find real estate agents. It's a lot to say that three games will determine your season but in order to prove they can dance in January, with the likes of the Chiefs, Steelers, and Patriots, they have to beat the good teams. It's put up or shut up time.
